The Club Alfa, which regroups over twenty high value-added service companies* in the biotechnology sector, is hosting the Start-Up Networking Event, on March 11 2007 in Lyon, France. The event is open to French and international biotech, pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical businesses. 

The aim of this event is to bring together young entrepreneurs and decision-makers from large businesses in the biotechnology sector, to exchange ideas and establish collaborations.

The event will take place in Lyon, on the eve of BioSquare international event. The Start-Up Networking Event will have for focal point a round table discussion hosted by Bionest on Biotech-pharma on ‘How to better work together?’. This debate will be followed by a reception dinner where participants can interact with one another. In order to ensure the quality of networking, the event is held exclusively for businesses. 

This is the fourth time the Start-Up Networking Event is being held. The first three events, organised between 2001 and 2003, welcomed over 150 participants. This fourth edition promises to reinforce even further the positioning and aspirations of the Club Alpha.

Established in 2002 and financed since 2005 by LEEM (Les Entreprises du medicament), the Club Alpha is a business club which regroups over twenty small to medium size health care businesses contracted by pharmaceuticals and biopharmaceuticals industries to work on scientific ventures.

The Club Alpha’s businesses aspire to share their competences, experiences and connections to generate a network of business excellence in France and Europe. The club aims to become the privileged partner of pharmaceuticals and biopharmaceuticals industries providing them with innovative skills, abilities and research.
